About Boyd
Boyd Summerhays coaches elite players and committed amateurs at Silverleaf Club in Scottsdale. A three-time Junior World champion, four-time AJGA High School All-American, former national junior player of the year, Oklahoma State golfer, and former PGA Tour member, he moved into Tour coaching in 2014. His individualized instruction builds around each player's body, personality, style, goals, and strengths while targeting the weakness that most limits performance. Current coaching can cover full swing, short game, putting, practice, course management, mental performance, equipment evaluation, and TrackMan yardage mapping.

Boyd has been a great mentor, teacher, and friend. We've been through a lot together since the Korn Ferry Tour in 2014. He's helped fine-tune my golf swing and the mental side of my game. He's been a huge part of what I've been able to accomplish.
From putting and short game techniques, to full swing mechanics, Boyd has an extensive understanding of the game of golf.
Since working with Boyd, we've taken my game to a new level. I'm not a mechanical player and he does a great job of simplifying the mechanics of my swing which allows me to just be an athlete on the course.
