Coach resources

Help the right golfers understand your coaching.

A strong profile is specific, current, and honest about who you serve best. Use these resources to build trust and receive better-fit inquiries.

Get your profile ready

Find or request your listing

Search the public directory first. If your profile exists, submit a claim. If it does not, request a new listing for review.

Verify your connection

Provide professional evidence such as a facility staff page, PGA profile, coaching website, or established professional account.

Complete useful details

Add current pricing, lesson formats, specialties, skill levels, technology, availability, and a clear teaching philosophy.

Respond to golfers promptly

Review each golfer’s goal, budget, availability, and message before confirming whether the lesson is a fit.

What makes a useful profile

  • Use a recent professional photo that clearly shows you.
  • Name the golfers and skill levels you regularly teach.
  • List lesson prices and formats that golfers can actually request.
  • Describe your teaching approach in plain language.
  • Keep facility, booking, technology, and availability details current.
  • Do not claim credentials, affiliations, or results you cannot support.

Claims, publication, and verification

Creating an account does not grant control of a listing. Profile claims are reviewed before ownership is assigned. Claimed, claim-approved, published, featured, and verified are separate concepts.

Protected changes—such as a coach name, facility affiliation, credentials, ownership, or verification claims—may require additional review. Visit the Help Center for common claim questions.

A profile claim starts both the ownership and professional-verification reviews, and the same evidence can support both. You do not need to submit it twice. Ownership and the Verified Coach badge remain separate decisions, and we may ask only for information that is still missing.

Working with reviews

Encourage honest feedback from golfers you have taught. Do not offer incentives for positive ratings or pressure golfers to remove critical feedback. Coaches may respond professionally to published reviews but may not edit or delete a golfer’s verified review.
