Greg is an outstanding golf coach. He understands the swing on a deep level and has curated an entire database of PGA Tour players’ swings, which he uses to illustrate key points to his students. What sets Greg apart is not just his knowledge but his firsthand experience as a proven tournament player, having succeeded in numerous tournaments and even playing in the Farmers Insurance Open. Personally, his guidance has taken my game to the next level, refining my technique and boosting my confidence in tournaments. If you’re serious about improving at golf, lessons with Greg are a must. Highest recommendation.

My son Joseph is a tournament player at the state and national level and has been seeing Greg for nearly two years. He has made tremendous progress with consistent ball striking and his swing is much more reliable. Greg is an excellent teacher and a rock of consistency. I have always been impressed with the way he identifies the biggest need of the player and does not try to fix too much at once. Greg has a vision and plan as to what is needed for each golfer regardless of their level. Greg will help any player improve in the least amount of time possible and will help instill a foundation that will stick. Greg has helped Joseph in all areas of his game from short game, putting, course management and swing. He takes tremendous pride in his work and you always know he will bring his "A" game to each lesson. That is who he is. Greg is an A+ as a person and if I could give more than 5 stars I would. We are very thankful to have found Greg! Sincerely, Jacob Nelson

I’ll start this review with the bottom line. You will not find a more knowledgeable golf coach to work with than Greg Casagranda. My son is one of the best junior golfers in Arizona and is committed to a D1 college. This is the level of golfer Greg helps to foster. My son is by no means the first D1 college golfer Greg has coached. The list is extensive. But Greg enjoys working with all levels and all ages of golfers. Not just those striving to be elite. What makes Greg the best golf coach in Scottsdale is more than his years of experience and high level of expertise. It is his willingness to plan for each individual student and make sure they are getting the proper instruction. Golf is not cookie cutter and Greg treats each person as a unique golfer. Greg is one of the most caring and authentic people I know. All teaching is done in a positive manner. You will never hear criticism or negativity. Golf is hard enough and a positive instructor is non-negotiable. Greg uses high tech video analysis combined with trackman at every lesson. He uses video analysis for both swing and putting. He uses data and studies numbers but also uses the knowledge of what he visually sees in his players. This is what you want in a golf coach. Someone who combines these two elements and tailors instruction to fit your needs. This is how you learn. If you want the best instructor there is no need to look any further than Greg.

I did not start playing golf until I was 31 years old. So I learned to play as an adult. I am fortunate enough to have sold a couple of company's so I have never had a problem paying top dollar for good instruction (15 years worth with a variety of teachers). Being stuck as an 8 handicap for five years, I fortunately met Greg and decided to take a couple of lessons. Well, he ended up being less expensive than my previous instructors and the results were as follows: In one year I was down to a 4, the following year I got down to a +2. Under his guidance I won the Pauma Valley Country Club Championship, the Senior Club Championship, the Match play championship, The Warner Springs CC Club Championship and Senior Championship. Greg has been my instructor for the past 24 years. I am now 70 and still can compete (1 handicap). There is NO doubt in my mind that without his guidance I would still be an 8 or higher. He understands the golf swing, the short game, putting, and the mental habits necessary to get you to play your best golf. And he makes it simple to understand and execute. I still travel to Scottsdale once a quarter to take lessons. Greg has allowed me to enjoy the greatest game in the world at level I never thought possible. He is simply the BEST, PERIOD.
