About James
Arizona native James 'JC' Contreras played high-school and college golf before graduating from Arizona State University in 1987 and turning professional. He became a PGA Class A member in 1992 after beginning his teaching career at Camelback Golf Club, where he started the club's first junior program. He has taught at Las Sendas Golf Club since 2002 and continues a seasonal summer teaching role at Fairbanks Golf Course in Alaska. His instruction serves beginners through professionals and emphasizes individual analysis so each student's swing works for that player.
