About John
John Darling is a PGA Teaching Professional at Verrado Golf Club with a golf career spanning more than five decades. After working as a PGA club professional from 1968 through 1986, he studied leadership and teaching with Ken Blanchard and later conducted Golf Digest Schools at Maderas Golf Club. His goal-based approach uses a four-stage learning model—enthusiasm, disillusionment, supportive coaching, and independence—and he has taught state junior champions, high-school champions, elite amateurs, and players from the mini tours through the PGA, LPGA, Korn Ferry, and Champions tours.
